For many Christians in Nigeria, following Jesus comes at an unimaginable cost.
According to recent reports, nearly 3,500 Christians were killed for their faith in Nigeria during the latest reporting period. That represents nearly 70% of all Christians killed worldwide during the same period.
Yet despite persecution, the Church in Nigeria continues to stand firm as it rises to pray, fast, and contend for revival, restoration, healing, and the future of the nation.
On July 25, 2026, thousands of believers will gather across all 36 states of Nigeria, the Federal Capital Territory, and the Diaspora for A Million Women Nigeria: A National Call to Prayer & Fasting. Following the example of Esther and Mordecai in a time of national crisis, this solemn assembly invites God's people to humble themselves before the Lord and intercede for Nigeria.
In preparation for this historic gathering, believers around the world are invited to join the 7-Day Global Fast, July 19–25. We believe God has positioned His people "for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14). Today, that same call is ours. May the Church arise—not in fear, but in faith; not in division, but in unity; not in silence, but in fervent prayer.
